Welcome to our third thanksgiving related posts! Today we will go over a quick and simple veggie side dish, the pan-roasted brussels sprouts in soy sauce by Bianca. If you have a huge crowd coming over this Thanksgiving, then this dish is both delicious and can serve a large crowd. Blow are the ingredients from Bianca’s recipe with a bit of modifications:
Ingredients
- 4 cups brussels sprouts
- 3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 onion

Directions
- Add three cups of water in a pot, place it on high, and have the water boil.
-
Remove loose outer leaves of the brussels sprouts, trim the stem and wash them. Cut them in halves.
- Place the brussels sprouts in the boiling water and leave them in there for 5 minutes or until the brussels spouts have softened.
- Next strain the brussels sprouts.
-
Bring a large pan to medium heat, add the oil, brussels sprouts, onion, and garlic. Let them roast for another 3-4 minutes on high heat until they are nicely browned.
-
Then add the soy sauce and allow them to cool thoroughly.
- Enjoy!
